Refugees need our help and support

A great collaboration with  Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO). The objective of this important campaign is to raise awareness to the problems refugees face all over the world and mobilize people to provide assistance. The goal of the social media campaign was to receive high engagement from the “young movable middle”. Due to the short attention span on social media, it was important to tell an engaging story with a style suitable for the target audience, all within 40 seconds.

Storyboard

The storyboard is the visualisation of the script and is the first step in the animation process.

Animation

The main focus of our animation work was to bring life to our protagonists and the problems they are facing and make them identifiable to the viewers. It was important to build an emotional connection with the characters in just a few seconds time.

Design

We wanted to have a striking, colourful and unique design, so that it instantly raises the viewer’s curiosity and stands out on Social Media.
