In February 2021 we had the pleasure to work with Sony Music Entertainment to produce and visualize the animated music video “The Hurt You Gave Me” by the newcomer artist Robert Grace.

Character Design
Robert wanted to appear as an animated character in the music video, so Sinnema created some character designs:
Rigging & Animation
From character to moving image: In order to move the Robert Grace figure, Sinnema had to create rig which was then animated.
Design and Layout
Naturally the colorful designs had to match with the mood of the song. The world Sinnema created was heavily inspired by psychedelic designs and illustration of the 70s.
